Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A.,[Notes 1] commonly referred to as Lamborghini (pronounced [lamborˈgiːni] ( listen)), is an Italian automaker. The company was founded by manufacturing magnate Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963, with the objective of producing a refined grand touring car to compete with established offerings from marques like Ferrari.

The company's first models were released in the mid-1960s, and were noted for their refinement, power, and comfort. Lamborghini gained wide acclaim in 1966 for the Miura sports coupé, which established mid-engine design as the standard layout for high-performance cars of the era. After a decade of rapid growth, hard times befell the company in the mid-1970s, as sales plunged in the wake of the 1973 world financial downturn and oil crisis. After going through bankruptcy and three changes in ownership, Lamborghini came under the corporate umbrella of the Chrysler Corporation in 1987.

With a new concept called Sesto Elemento launch, Lamborghini is known to shine in the big show and performance eclipsed other car brands.

After much speculation, the images on the same drip irritation to the extreme fans, Lamborghini has unveiled the secret of their latest concept the Sesto Elemento. The car emerged at the pre-exhibition event this year's Paris Motor Show, the Volkswagen Group's booth.

Elemento Sesto concept is built on the size of the Gallardo, with ultra-light weight due to structural bodywork is made from lightweight carbon fiber materials advanced. Vehicle weight display with very nice numbers, 999 kg, equipped with V10 engine with a capacity of 570 horsepower. This is also available on the engine model Gallardo Superleggera.

He Stepahn Winkelmann, president and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, said: "Lamborghini Sesto evident Elemento future of the super sports cars - ultra light weight, clever combination between high speed and exciting driving feel . We all remember Lamborghini Gallardo SE unveiled at the 2005. The edition was limited to merely 250 copies and was offered with two-tone body paint. Now as the Gallardo is coming to an end, Lamborghini is looking to give its fans a few special edition options. First of all there will be Gallardo Bicolore special edition which is expected to be launched by 2011, most likely in the Detroit Auto show and deliveries are to start in February 2011.
Gallardo Bicolore will be offered with duotone color scheme, Callisto rims, and sportier interiors to Gallardo SE, with little increase (approx 20hp) in power. The potential buyers can opt for the color from two unnamed gray, white, yellow, orangeand green, which will always be combined with a continuous black roof. The special edition will be based on Gallardo LP560-4 edition.
Since it’s Lambo, the rumor mill is churning about brand preparing a Tricolore edition and there are reports about Lamborghini registering the Gallardo bicolor and Tricolore which gives little insight about brands plans. But, nothing is official as of now. As soon as the details will emerge, we’ll be back. Stay tuned for more.

Do you feel that a Ferrari is too soft, too civilized for you? Then go for a Lamborghini Diablo. The historic Italian marque keeps producing a car as cars were meant to be until some years ago. The Diablo is an object of desire, a car that speaks to its owner's heart more than any other car on production today (remember that Ferrari F50 and McLaren F1 are not produced anymore).

You can't really understand the size of a Diablo until you actually see one on the road and you surely can't understand the feel of a Lamborghini Diablo until you actually drive it. It makes more noise than you can imagine, yet, the sound of its V12 can instantly stir you up, it is more impractical than anything else you have seen in your life, yet still it is irresistible.

Many versions have been spawn off the original Diablo with the latest '99 SV getting a 530bhp engine.

All in all it's simple enough: This is (most) probably the last supercar as supercars ought to be.

Lamborghini introduced what it calls the 'Fastest one-make series in the world', featuring a 570 bhp, All-Wheel-Drive race-prepared version of the newer Gallardo LP560-4. The series suppourted European race series such as Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft (DTM), FIA GT Series and the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), featuring 18 races overall and having a 30-car grid consisting of privateer teams as well as Lamborghini dealer teams and one factory team featuring guest drivers.
