Winner of the “Best of Show” and “first in class” in the Detroit Autorama, the “Tequila Sunrise” by designer Jason Battersby is a low-rider bicycle that, featuring a trendy yet elegant design, would even make the best motorcycles run for their money. Of course, I mean style wise! Finished with hand laid fiberglass over a steel frame, the hand built bike not just boasts a robust body, but its near-grounded frame ensures a safe as well as comfortable ride. Jason Battersby is a student designer, currently doing his Masters in Transportation Design from the Umea Institute of Design in Sweden.



Introducing a new technology, nuclear fusion, French designer Romain Herment has popped up a motorcycle concept that harnesses nuclear energy as a power source for a two-wheeler. Called the “Motorbike 2050 version 2,” the futuristic motorcycle also makes use of two inexhaustible natural elements, deuterium and tritium, allowing a sustainable ride in the days to come. The motorbike only consumes 1 liter of water for a long (about 100 km) drive. Generating power from an electric engine, the Motorbike 2050 just weights 55kg and allows easy controlling at high speeds.
